1. Information We Collect
We collect information in three ways:
- Information you give us. When you request service, call, email, or fill out a form, you may provide your name, phone number, email address, service address, and details about your HVAC system or the problem you are having.
- Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we may automatically receive standard technical data such as your device type, browser, general location, referring page, and how you use the Site. This helps the Site work properly and lets us improve it.
- Cookies and similar technologies. The Site may use small files called cookies to remember your preferences and understand how the Site is used. See Section 5 for details.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your requests, schedule service, and provide estimates and support;
- Contact you about appointments, service updates, and follow-ups by phone, text, or email;
- Process payments and keep records of the work we perform;
- Operate, maintain, and improve the Site and our services;
- Send you promotions or reminders where you have asked to receive them; and
- Comply with our legal obligations and protect our rights and the safety of others.
3. Text Messaging (SMS)
If you provide your phone number and opt in, Western Air may send you text messages about your service requests, appointment confirmations and reminders, and, where you have consented, occasional promotions. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP at any time to opt out of text messages, or reply HELP for assistance. Opting out of texts will not affect our ability to reach you by phone or email about service you have requested. We do not sell or share your mobile phone number or SMS consent with third parties for their own marketing.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share it only in these limited situations:
- Service providers. With vendors who help us operate our business, including Housecall Pro for online booking and scheduling, Google Analytics for privacy-limited site measurement, and providers for hosting, payments, or communications. These vendors may use the information only to provide services to us.
- Legal and safety reasons. When required by law, subpoena, or government request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Western Air, our customers, or others.
- Business transfers. In connection with a merger, sale, or other business transaction, in which case your information may be among the assets transferred.
- Aggregated data. We may share information that does not identify you individually.
5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use Google Analytics to understand general Site usage, such as pages viewed, approximate location, device type, and interactions with call and booking links. Google Analytics may set a first-party _ga cookie to distinguish visits. We do not send names, phone numbers, service addresses, form contents, or other booking details to Google Analytics, and we do not use Analytics for advertising or cross-site tracking. Analytics storage is disabled by default for visitors in the EEA, United Kingdom, and Switzerland.
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. You may also use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The Site does not load Google Analytics when a browser sends an enabled Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal.
6. Do Not Track
The Site honors enabled Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track browser signals by not loading Google Analytics. We do not track you across other websites for advertising.
7. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information we collect. However, no method of transmitting or storing data over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You provide information to us at your own risk.
8. Data Retention
We keep your information for as long as needed to provide our services, maintain business and service records, resolve disputes, and comply with our legal obligations. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.
9. Third-Party Links
The Site may link to third-party websites or services, including Housecall Pro for online booking, Google for reviews and analytics, and OpenStreetMap for maps. Information you submit on a third-party service is governed by that provider's privacy practices. We encourage you to review those policies.
10. Your Choices and Rights
You may contact us at any time to review, correct, or request deletion of the personal information we hold about you, or to ask a question about this Policy. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable state privacy laws; we will honor those rights as required. To make a request, use the contact information in Section 13.
11. Children's Privacy
The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the updated Policy.
